I started to sing in very early age in a children´s choir and then the school choir and since 11 years old in 1982 my dream was to be a rock singer. When I was 8 years in 1979 my five year older cousin introduced me to The Sweet and later on Rainbow and still today Brian Connolly & Ronnie James Dio are two major vocal influences for me.

*Which artists or bands did influence you the most?

The Sweet, Dio, Rainbow, Stryper, Iron Maiden, Yngwie Malmsteen´s Rising Force & Europe

*Which instrument do you play and how and when did you learn to play?

I am focused as lead vocalist then I play a little keyboards that I use when I write songs but never in public. I am a lead vocalist. I took lessons in my teens but always working on my song technique nearly everyday.

*Did you had lessons in school or private lessons?

I took lessons in my music school.

*If so, was that because your parents expected that from you?

No it was me personally who wanted to become a better vocalist even if my father is a good singer.

*Or did you learn to play the instrument(s) by yourself?

I learned to sing in the right way when I was a member in several choirs.

*Do yo still follow some lessons?

I still do some technique excercises.

I did music fulltime for many years but since 2014 I work as jobcoach.

My work is to help unemployed people to the next job and education.

*If you would be really succesful with music, would you quit your other job?

No I like the mix and it inspire me on both sides,

*If you had been banned to an uninhabited island and you may pick 5 albums to listen to, wich albums would you choose and why?

Rainbow – ‘Rising’, The Sweet – ‘Strung Up’, Stryper – ‘To Hell With The Devil’, John Miles – ‘Rebel’, Yngwie Malmsteen´s Rising Force – Self titled. These albums are unique and different styles of music I love so I can listent these albums for a long time.

*You do know each other already for years. Why did it took that long to get together to form a band?

We were occupied with different things and now the timing was right and all was ready to give their talent and time into this band.

*Every new album of a band or an artist is the best one, so they say. – We do know ‘Flames Of Fire’ is the first studio-album for FLAMES OF FIRE. – So here is a chance to promote you album. Why should a music lover buy your album? What are the standout tracks for you on this new album and why?
